TAN Membership Criteria
- Are you in the top 10% of home sales within your market area?
- Do you believe that real estate competitors must cooperate and communicate to be successful?
- Do you want an objective way to distinguish yourself to clients?
In a world where every real estate agent claims to be “top,” membership in the prestigious Top Agent Network validates a real estate agent’s standing in his or her local market. Membership is restricted to top 10% producers: those agents who do the bulk of the business in any geographic region.
To become a member, an agent must be in the top 10% of the area covered by their TAN chapter based on past 24-month closed home sales.
Typically this top 10% represents the buyer or seller in 90% of closed home sales.
To attain and retain eligibility for TAN membership, read these important tips from our blog.
TAN reserves the right to revoke membership of any agent who consistently underperforms relative to his or her peers or does not abide by our Terms of Service or Usage Rules. Similarly, we reserve the right to admit highly qualified agents whose sales span our designated chapter areas, provided their total sales volume meets stated chapter qualification specifications.

Do you know of a respected, top-producing agent? Recommend an agent for membership.
My older sellers had a luxury view home. They hated the idea of listing on the MLS because they are very private people. It also was an effort for them to get out of the home for showings. A fellow TAN agent posted about motivated buyers looking for a view home in the $3-5 million range. We closed in 6 weeks.
