Top Agent Network to Serve Top 10% of Chicago’s Real Estate Agents with Two New Chapters
San Francisco (4/26/13) – Top Agent Network (TAN), the private online business community for top real estate agents, is launching two chapters in May in the Chicago area: a Chicago chapter which will serve the top 10% agents in the city’s Loop, north and west residential regions; and a Chicago North Shore chapter which will serve top 10% agents in the city’s affluent northern suburbs.
Membership in Top Agent Network allows top-ranked real estate agents to share exclusive Pre- and Non-MLS real estate information via the network’s sophisticated online communications platform. The exchange of local “inside scoops” and industry expertise among trusted top peers lets members provide an unprecedented level of service to their clients, resulting in happier clients and more home sales.
Within the lineup of online tools Chicago real estate agents currently employ, TAN will offer unique advantages. Its use comes very early in the listing cycle, as soon as clients have informed the agent of their decision to sell. While the property is being prepared for listing and showing, members use TAN within local chapters in an informal but potent way to announce the listing’s eventual availability–just as agents traditionally have been sharing advance leads in brokerage meetings, by word of mouth and by phone. But with TAN, that advance word is spread across all brokerages, efficiently and transparently, which benefits members, buyers and sellers.
“Sharing Pre- and Non-MLS real estate information with one another is something that top agents have been doing forever,” says Top Agent Network Founder and CEO David Faudman. “Unfortunately, this sharing was very haphazard and inefficient. That’s why I created Top Agent Network. As soon as agents become members, they start making connections that lead to more home sales and to happier clients.”
Top Agent Network membership is restricted to the top 10% producing agents in each local chapter based on past two-year MLS sales. TAN performs strict qualification analyses before inviting an agent to membership. The top 10 percent producing agents are typically involved in 3 out of 4 closed home sales in their respective market areas. These relatively small, targeted groups allow TAN to be extremely effective at capturing the bulk of real estate activity in each region.
Furthermore, the high degree of professionalism and trust on the network allows for the sharing of far more than listing information. Members use TAN to circulate buyer needs, request service provider recommendations, seek out advice on pricing and share in industry discussion. This collaboration of the area’s most esteemed peers allows all of them to serve their clients better. Members also use their TAN memberships to promote themselves to clients.
TAN’s Chicago presence will bring the company’s total number of chapters to 29. After its formation in the San Francisco Bay area, TAN has attracted an enthusiastic member following in chapters spanning California, in Scottsdale, Arizona, and throughout the Boston and Washington, D.C. metropolitan areas. The company plans continued aggressive national expansion in 2013 and beyond.
