A Message from David Faudman
Founder and CEO of Top Agent Network
Top Agent Network started in 1995 in Marin County, California. A client had called to ask how much her house would sell for if we listed it that day. Ordinarily I would respond to requests like this by picking up the phone and calling my fellow top agents individually. Although these efforts typically resulted in lucrative sales, I found the process tedious. There had to be an easier way.
I collected the email addresses of the top agents in my area and started an email list serve—a novel concept in 1995. Other top agents began asking me for my email list so they could get their pre-MLS information and questions out to the group. I shared my list with my colleagues and Top Agent Network was born.
Since then TAN has morphed into a sophisticated online application where top agents can see Pre/Non-MLS Listings Reports, and share, discuss and retrieve Pre/Non-MLS information in industry-relevant categories. TAN makes finding information about upcoming properties much more efficient. Most importantly, TAN helps agents help each other to answer questions, impress clients and make more home sales.
